Jabiru Community Ball

support

Central Qld, you made it happen, $100,000 raised for Our veterans bus

A heartfelt thank you to the many people whose generosity of time and support has helped make the Jabiru Community Ball such a success, reaching our target of raising $100,000 to purchase a dedicated wheel chair accessible bus for the Yeppoon RSL Sub Branch veterans and Rockhampton War Widows.

Our sincere appreciation goes to our many generous sponsors – Principal Partner Ian Weigh Toyota. Gold Partners – Kev Doolan Professionals Emu Park and the Jabiru Events Centre. Silver Partners, Absolute Waste, Capricorn Coast Sand and Soil, CJ Homes, Elders Real Estate Yeppoon, CQ Floor World, JRT Group, Like Homes, Minto Finance Group, RBH Civil Earthworks, Seahaven Yeppoon, South Geldard Lawyers, and Willgrow Properties. Bronze Partners Hohmanns Plumbing, Nigel Hutton Member for Keppel, Rock Loans, STN Civil Solutions, SMW Group, and Wright Way Roofing.

We also acknowledge our wonderful volunteer RSL bar staff, members of the Rotary Club of Capricorn Coast, Tony Cook and Johno Batley for their powerful performance of Long Live The Brave, and our War Widows who spent countless hours hand-crocheting 400 beautiful commemorative woollen poppies. Thank you to the members of the Yeppoon RSL Sub Branch for your guidance and assistance in helping deliver this event.

And to our veterans, thank you for your service, your courage, and your sacrifice that has given all of us the freedoms we sometimes take for granted. The Jabiru Community Ball provided a platform to recognise our honour and appreciation, and to remind you that your service will never be forgotten.
