The Jabiru Events is approximately four kilometres or seven minutes from the Yeppoon CBD, whilst Rockhampton is around 37 kilometres to the south west, an easy 30 minute drive. Rockhampton Airport - just 38 minutes away, offers numerous daily flights to Brisbane and northern Queensland destinations. Travel time to the airport will reduce further with the completion of the Rockhampton Ring Road, currently under construction.
We can host just about any function for guest numbers between 250 and 1,000.
Including but not limited to Weddings, Conferences, Black Tie Dinners, School Formals, Product Launches, Birthdays & Anniversaries, Sporting Events, Trade Shows, and more.
Our minimum guest number is approximately 250. Due to the large size of the venue, any less is not practicable and cost prohibitive.
Yes, the team provides personalised support and advice, including layout planning, theming, bands and other entertainment, logistics management, and creative solutions tailored to your event.

We have onsite car parking, If you’re hosting a bigger event, we can help organise bus or coach transport to keep things simple and stress‑free for your guests.

Yes, absolutely! You’re welcome to use your own caterer, as long as they have the appropriate food licence and meet the Food Standards Code in regard to safe handling, preparation, and storage.
As a fully licensed venue, we’re unable to allow BYO alcohol, but don’t worry, we offer a great selection of beer, wine, and spirits, and we’re happy to create a package that suits your event and your budget.
